Porto Charming Hotel

It is a charming hotel with a good atmosphere and really good staff who are always available for queries.

I had such wonderful stay, the place is lovely little!

The room I booked was brand-new and had a large bed, slept well👍😃

Location: the hotel was next to a pedestrian shopping street with domestic, a local cafe and the main shopping street and the bus station. The room of this place was well laid out with hot water in the shower. Immensely pleasant staff especially the receptionist, the breakfast was perfect...

Just spent two nights in Porto at Charming. Loved the cozy decor and super high ceilings! Breakfast was a standout with tasty options, and the staff were great too assist. Only downside was some street noise at night, but overall, a great stay!

The room had high ceilings, and the internet connection worked perfectly. Each morning, fresh coffee was available, a wonderful perk. I loved that breakfast offered a variety of fresh options. The hotel is also conveniently located within a short walk to a pedestrian street and local attractions. I faced some noise issues from the street outside, which disturbed my sleep. I found the shower too small. The toilet paper choice seemed odd and not fitting for the price of the hotel. Figuring out the entry code for the main door took some time, and a little more guidance on that would have been helpful.

The Double Room had a nice layout making the most of a compact space. The high ceilings gave it a quirky character that you don't find in every joint.

Navigating to the entrance reminded me of a quest. It's tucked away and can be confused with a guesthouse. Noise was a constant companion, both from the bustling street below and the thin walls. Bring earplugs if you plan to sleep. The toilet paper was an odd choice, resembling the kind you'd find in public restrooms rather than a decent hotel, a drawback considering the price point. The main door was a real workout to open and figuring out the entry code took a few tries-definitely not user-friendly.

Had a fantastic 3-night stay as a solo traveler. The location was perfect-just a short walk to all the key spots. The room was clean and cute, and coffee was available all day, which I loved. Breakfast was a treat, way more than just continental 🍰

The rooms were charming and airy, and we loved the daily home-baked cake with coffee. It added a homey touch that our family really enjoyed. Plus, we appreciated how the staff consistently were really good.

My wife says that the strong perfume in the hallway was a bit overwhelming.

Charming Stay with Some Room for Improvement

Enjoyed my 3-night stay as a solo traveler. Cozy decor added warmth, but the air conditioning noise was distracting. Parking is limited, so maneuver carefully. Great breakfast spread daily! I recommend taking public transport to avoid parking hassle.

Charming atmosphere with friendly staff who were always ready to assist. The room was compact but adequate for a five-night stay. Breakfast offerings were abundant and of excellent quality, including delicious cream cakes. The room felt a bit cramped for the duration, and there was limited parking available, which posed a bit of a challenge.

The room was spacious with high ceilings, and the free Wi-Fi worked perfectly. We especially enjoyed the complimentary coffee each morning and the location-just a short walk to the pedestrian street and the Cathedral.

The only downside was some street noise at night.

Couples who want a charming stay

We loved how the breakfast was way more than just a continental meal, very complete with fresh pastries and tasty options every morning. The staff was super friendly, always ready to help, not just guests.

It wasn't cheap but, all things considered, it was acceptable.

The staff here are super friendly, especially the receptionist. Everything here is top-notch. the atmosphere is nice and peaceful. the rooms are small but clean, and they have a nice bathroom with a great shower 🚿.
